Mr. Gerrold E.R. Adipoera studied Surinamese law with an emphasis on civil law at the University of Suriname. On November 1, 2019, he was formally named the ‘Best Law Graduate’ by the board of the University of Suriname at its 51st Dies Natalis. He is also the founder (auctor intellectualis) of the Surinamese Legal Faculty Association and has participated in prestigious (international) extra-curricular activities.

As a trainee lawyer under the guidance of Edward Naarendorp LL.M. and in collaboration with his other colleagues, he contributes full of ambition and enthusiasm to the (international) advisory and litigation practice of the firm. He mainly specializes in (international) commercial contract law, employment law, corporate law, environmental law, mining law and energy law.

Gerrold is also a lecturer and PhD candidate at the University of Suriname and is an editorial member of the Surinamese Legal Journal. As of 2021, he has actively started publishing in the aforementioned journal in the field of contract law and corporate law.
